The Star Garage Studio Vacation Rental
Nestled in scenic Southwest Utah, the Star Garage presents a top-notch experience for adventure-seeking couples and even a furry friend or two! From the road sign décor, metal lockers and Hot Wheels collection to the hand-crafted truck bed, we’ve “auto-tuned” this studio apartment into a 1960s-inspired man cave — for guys and gals!
This retro hotspot offers a well-stocked kitchenette, luxurious bedding and towels, and upgraded fiber-optic streaming services. You’ll love recharging on the private patio between your hiking and sightseeing adventures. More members in your crew can stay at the Western Star Bungalow next door!
As you step inside The Star Garage, the fun kitchen greets you on your left. Discover silverware in the tool chest, bright red cabinetry, mini-fridge, stove and microwave for preparing meals or heating up leftovers from one of many nearby restaurants.
Kick-start your day sipping a cup o’ joe on the slick flame-covered stools at the bar. Better yet, enjoy a burgers from the grill on the charming retro dinette set featuring a tabletop jukebox.
Comfort & Fun Around Every Corner!
The private patio makes for a perfect place to plan your day in and around Kanab. Sway in the hammock afterward for a snooze in the newly landscaped (and shared) side yard.
Our guests love spending the night in a 1963 GMC Pickup truck outfitted with a Purple king-sized mattress and plenty of plump pillows to lie back and watch a flick from our expensive DVD collection or choose something on Netflix on the smart TV and fiber-optic internet.
Past the luggage racks and metal lockers, you’ll find a corner bathroom with a walk-in shower. A washer and dryer are also available through the carport entrance if you should need them.
One-of-a-kind Stay
Situated in the Heart of the Parks, The Star Garage Is a great basecamp near North Rim Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon National Park. For some fun skinny hiking in the slot canyons, you’ll love Peek-a-Boo and Buckskin Gulch.
Closer to home you can explore Western film history and check out preserved movie sets at the Little Hollywood Museum in town. Or spend the day volunteering at the largest No-Kill Animal Shelter in the country.

The star garage is a great location to stay at if you want to explore Utah’s national parks. This Airbnb comes stocked with everything you could need to prepare a good home cooked meal. The owner really thought of everything in terms of amenities and left directions to anything we could have had issues with. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked an extra night. Highly recommend and would definitely come back if we pass through Utah again.

An Absolute Gem
This place is an absolute gem. Very clean and well-equipped. Perfectly put together with lots of lovely touches, including a fabulous selection of DVDs, BBQ grill, and full kitchen. Lovely outdoor area to sit and eat. Horseshoe pit. No opportunity has been missed to carry the garage theme throughout. Lots of great information in folders about things to do locally. Just book it!
