Big news for us near North Rim Grand Canyon! Due to the high elevation the North Rim Road had traditionally closed down for the Season in mid Oct. But thanks to public input, diligent travel council and a willing Park Director, The road is staying open!!
But not without caveats – the Lodge and dinning ARE closing Oct 15th. The visitors center and gift shop and campground will remain open until Dec 1, or a giant snowstorm comes. Whichever is first.
PLEASE read this park news release carefully!
